Selected work

Real problems, measurable results

Selected real work from product teams and client projects. Happy to walk you through the details on a call.

  • mobility / real-time

    WeDrive — ride-hailing & intercity platform

    Problem
The business needed a marketplace that matches drivers and passengers in real time with auction-based pricing. The existing Django monolith could no longer keep up with growing load and new products.
    Solution
Designed the reverse-auction engine, ride lifecycle, dynamic pricing and payments on FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis and WebSockets. Migrated the monolith to microservices on FastAPI, Go, Kafka and gRPC, and launched the Flexible Ride and City-to-City products.
    Result
The platform runs in production with apps on the App Store and Google Play. The backend is the single source of truth for Flutter apps, a React admin and third-party integrations, backed by nearly 2,000 unit and integration tests.

  • govtech / payments

    Road24 — national super-app for drivers

    Problem
A high-load app for checking and paying traffic fines, insurance, inspections and more needed reliable integrations with government systems and payment providers, and a fast backend.
    Solution
Built microservices on FastAPI, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse and RabbitMQ. Integrated MyID, OneID, MyGov and other government services, plus Multicard, Atmos, Rahmat and Munis payments with the full flow and reconciliation. Launched the official Telegram bot on a self-hosted Bot API server.
    Result
Shipped 20+ product features. Redesigned parts of the database and migrated all data seamlessly with integrity preserved. Sped up the insurance, inspection and tinting modules; services run reliably on Kubernetes.

  • e-commerce / performance

    E-commerce API: speed & payments

    Problem
Legacy e-commerce projects at UIC Group were slow: N+1 queries, heavy media files and uncached APIs. They also needed secure support for several payment systems.
    Solution
Rewrote APIs on FastAPI and Odoo, eliminated all N+1 queries and added dynamic cache triggers. Moved media to MinIO with WebP and a CDN. Integrated 8 payment systems plus OFD Soliq tax receipts, with background jobs on Celery.
    Result
APIs got 30–40% faster, query times dropped by 60% and images became 10× smaller. Over 5,000 transactions a month and 1,000+ background tasks a day run reliably.

  • saas / commerce

Botcommerce — shop builder for messengers

    Problem
In a SaaS that lets merchants open a shop in a messenger in 5 minutes, pages loaded slowly and customers wanted more payment methods and easier sign-in.
    Solution
Reworked queries with JOINs and caching, added Google and Facebook sign-in and real-time WebSocket notifications. Integrated 7 payment systems (Payme, Click, Stripe, Adyen and more) and moved file storage to S3.
    Result
Page load time dropped by 50%. More than 20% of users sign in with social login every day. Payments processed 4,000+ orders, and test coverage grew by 15%.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does pricing work?
There is no fixed price list — every project is different. After a short free call I estimate the scope and send a written proposal with either a fixed price or an hourly rate.
What are the payment terms?
Usually milestone-based: an upfront deposit, then payment as each milestone is delivered. Bank transfer (UZS/USD), or Upwork and other convenient options for international clients.
How long will my project take?
It depends on scope: a small integration or fix takes a few days, an MVP typically 4–8 weeks. The exact timeline is part of the proposal.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. We can sign a non-disclosure agreement before any details are shared. I never disclose client information without permission.
Do you offer support after launch?
Yes. Every delivery includes a warranty period for fixes. After that I offer monthly support covering monitoring, updates and new features.
Do you work with international clients?
Yes. I work in English and Russian, and UTC+5 overlaps comfortably with both European and Asian business hours. Contracts and payments via Upwork or directly.
